We are looking for crane technicians who are highly skilled in tower crane installations & removals as well as general maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. The ability to interpret and act on manufacturers installation instructions is a must. If you have experience in installing cranes/heavy equipment at height in industrial setting, please apply.

These are the day to day expectations of this job:

  • Erect and/or repair tower cranes (your ability to work at heights is a must)
  • Perform daily worksite inspections
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including tools and company vehicles
  • Keep detailed records in alignment with company requirements
  • Remain dedicated to safety by participating in our Bigfoot Crane Safety Program
  • Report ‘Near Miss/Hazardous Situations’
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and pleasant relationship with our clients
  • Attend & engage in weekly and monthly safety and production meetings
  • Be willing to work overtime, as jobs often require extra hours
  • Travel as is required (1-3 overnight jobs per month)

You bring these skills/attributes to the job:

  • Comprehensive mechanical background
  • Relevant experience working on machinery at height
  • Welding and/or fabrication skills while not mandatory would be a bonus
  • Tower and Self-Erect Tower Crane erection experience (Highly Valuable)
  • Basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge
  • Pulley system experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Must Have)
  • Willingness to be a positive ambassador for our brand

Your peace of mind is important to us, which is why Bigfoot team members and their immediate family (spouse/significant other & children) are eligible for full benefits after three months of continuous employment. These benefits are outlined in detail in our Bigfoot Employee Package, which includes what is covered, how much is covered, and specific eligibility.

Employees pay premiums for Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), and Life Insurance. This means you won’t be taxed if you ever have to draw on one of them. Employee premiums are prorated and deducted on a bi-weekly payroll deduction. Bigfoot pays all remaining premiums.

We encourage consistent growth and professional development as you maintain and upgrade your certifications, but we don’t make you do it alone. Where applicable Bigfoot will not only pay for the program tuition required to increase your credentials, we’ll also pay you for the time it takes to complete those programs.
