We are looking for candidates who is customer service focused, highly organized, able to handle various duties, adaptable to changing demands, and thrives in an environment seeking constant process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Distribute vendor invoices via ERP for authorization, assist with G/L and departmental coding.
• Code and post AP invoices into ERP system
• Prepare vendor payments and reconcile vendor statements.
• Allocate freight and duty costs for inventory related invoices.
• Process and manage company credit cards/fuel cards.
• Post inter-company and multi-currency transactions.
• Assist with processing and creation of purchase orders.
• Apply for vendor credit.
• Manage Petty cash.
• Inventory adjustment journal entries
• Process R&M work order inventory journal entries
• Ensure sub-ledger is accurate per location.
Receivables (Shared Responsibilities with AR & Billing):
• Prepare accurate invoices in a timely manner and distribute them to customers.
• Manage customer credit applications and set up new accounts.
• Collect outstanding customer amounts and manage delinquent accounts.
• Process and post customer credit card payments and deposits.
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain customer accounts.
• Prepare aged accounts receivable reports.
• Distribute monthly customer statements.
• Process accounting related duties, including reconciliations and journal entries as required.
Administration:
• General administrative tasks such as filling and scanning
• Back-up for reception – manage incoming calls and direct accordingly in a friendly and professional manner.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years in a similar role
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and MS Office suite
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting
• Prior working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central an asset
• Desire to help other positions, approachable personality.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate consistent reliability and responsibility.
• Excellent organization and clear communication skills
• Ability to monitor deadlines and prioritize workflow.

Employees pay premiums for Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), and Life Insurance. This means you won’t be taxed if you ever have to draw on one of them. Employee premiums are prorated and deducted on a bi-weekly payroll deduction. Bigfoot pays all remaining premiums.
